Weather & What to Pack

Late February in Port Fairy typically brings warm summer weather with average temperatures ranging from 14-24°C. Being a coastal location, expect moderate humidity and potential sea breezes that can provide welcome cooling during your run. Morning starts at 7:00 AM will be cooler, whilst later races may experience warmer conditions. Wear lightweight, breathable running gear and apply sunscreen. The flat, exposed course offers limited shade, so hydration is crucial. Southwesterly winds are common along the coast, so be prepared for variable conditions.
