Course Description
Run on a fast, flat 5km circuit around the picturesque Albert Park Lake in Melbourne's inner south. This off-road course is ideal for personal bests, with smooth paths that wind around the 5km lake perimeter. Half marathon runners complete just over four laps, while 10km participants do two laps and 5km runners complete one circuit. The course offers scenic views across the lake, passes through shaded tree-lined sections, and benefits from minimal elevation change throughout. The well-maintained gravel and dirt paths provide excellent running conditions away from traffic, making it perfect for focusing on your pace and enjoying the natural surroundings of one of Melbourne's most iconic parklands.

Albert Park Lake is located 3km south of Melbourne's CBD. By car, take St Kilda Road south and turn right onto Aughtie Drive. Free street parking is available on surrounding streets including Aughtie Drive and nearby residential areas, though arrive early on race morning. Public transport options include trams 96 and 12 which stop nearby on St Kilda Road. Arrive at least 45 minutes before the 8:00 AM start to collect your race number and warm up.
