Weather & What to Pack

June in Melbourne brings cool winter conditions, with typical morning temperatures ranging from 6-12°C at the 7:30 AM start time. Expect crisp mornings with potential for light rain or cloudy skies, though the Tan's tree cover provides some shelter. Dress in layers with long sleeves and running tights or leggings - you'll warm up quickly once racing. The sealed surface can be slippery when wet, so choose appropriate footwear. While hydration needs are lower in cooler weather, bring water for post-run recovery. Check the forecast before race day and prepare for changeable conditions.
