Event Details
Course Description
The race starts with half a lap around the Summit Sport and Recreation Park before heading out into the rolling Adelaide Hills. Runners tackle a blend of sealed roads, fire‑track sections, vineyard paths and light trail sections, climbing up to the top of Mt Barker Summit. Along the way you’ll pass Ngeringa Vineyards, spot local wildlife such as kangaroos or echidnas, and enjoy panoramic hill‑top views. The 5 km loops back via the vineyards, while the half‑marathon continues on a longer, undulating course that finishes back at the park. Aid stations, water refills and a celebratory finish with coffee and treats await.

Dress in layers – a light long‑sleeve or jersey with a breathable jacket for the early start, and consider a hat and sunscreen. Stay hydrated, but you’ll likely need less water than in summer heat.
