The race starts at the North Bank of the lake, right at the corner of Mawson Lakes Boulevard and Main Street. Participants can choose a single 2.25 km lap or two laps for a 4.5 km distance, following a smooth, paved path that circles the lake’s tranquil shoreline. The route is flat and well‑marked, with a timing card required at the start/finish. Toilets are conveniently located at the Mawson Lakes Shopping Centre just north of the start area. Spectators can enjoy the parkland views while runners and walkers complete their laps at a relaxed pace.
