Event Details
Course Description
The course starts on the iconic Henley Beach promenade, following the shoreline on well‑maintained road and boardwalk sections. Runners will enjoy sweeping views of Gulf St Vincent, gentle sea‑breeze corridors, and a few rolling dunes that add a modest challenge. The route loops back to the finish line near the jetty, offering easy access to water stations and post‑race refreshments. With mostly flat terrain and a coastal backdrop, the race suits both seasoned marathoners and those tackling their first long‑distance event.
Getting There
The start line is on the Henley Beach promenade near the jetty. Limited free parking is available on Henley Beach Road; a short walk from the car park to the start is required. Paid parking is also offered at the nearby Henley Beach Reserve. Public transport: the 150/151 bus runs to Henley Beach South, a 5‑minute walk to the venue. Arrive at least 30 minutes early to collect your bib and warm‑up.

Weather & What to Pack
November is spring in South Australia, bringing mild to warm temperatures (typically 18‑25 °C) and occasional coastal breezes. Humidity is moderate and showers are possible, so dress in layers and consider a light, breathable jacket. Wear a hat or visor for sun protection, use sunscreen, and stay hydrated with water stations along the route.
