Weather & What to Pack
Late April in Wollongong brings pleasant autumn running conditions with temperatures typically ranging from 12-22°C. Early morning starts will be cool, around 12-15°C, so bring a throwaway layer or light jacket for the start line. The coastal location provides refreshing sea breezes that keep conditions comfortable throughout the morning. Humidity is moderate and rainfall less frequent than summer, though always possible. Sunrise occurs around 6:15 AM, treating early starters to spectacular dawn views over the Pacific. Apply sunscreen and wear a cap as temperatures rise, and plan your hydration strategy for the moderate conditions.
