Weather & What to Pack

Early May in Sydney brings ideal autumn running conditions with crisp, comfortable temperatures. Expect morning temperatures between 12-18°C, perfect for distance running - not too hot, not too cold. The weather is typically stable with low humidity and minimal chance of extreme heat. Mornings can be cool at the start, so consider wearing a disposable layer or long sleeves for the warm-up. Sun protection is still recommended as UV levels can be moderate. The predictable autumn weather makes this an excellent time for personal bests.
