Event Details
Course Description
The race starts and finishes at Rosebud Skate Park, following a mix of sealed roads, shared pathways and the picturesque Bay Trail. The 5km and 10km loops head north towards McCrae before returning, while the half marathon and marathon continue south through Capel Sound, turning around near Rye and looping back. The terrain is predominantly flat with clear signage, making it ideal for personal‑best attempts or a relaxed walk. Aid stations provide water and sports drinks, and public toilets are positioned along the route. The coastal backdrop offers plenty of photo opportunities throughout the day.
Getting There
Rosebud Skate Park is on the Nepean Highway (corner of Boneo Rd). There is free on‑site parking for race participants, with additional street parking nearby. The venue is a 20‑minute drive from Frankston train station; take the 782 bus from Frankston to Rosebud (approx. 30 min). Arrive at least 30 minutes before your start time to collect your bib and warm‑up.

Weather & What to Pack
June is winter in Victoria, so expect cool temperatures ranging from 5 °C to 15 °C, occasional light rain and moderate humidity. Dress in layers – a moisture‑wicking base, a light fleece or jacket, and a wind‑proof outer layer. A hat and gloves are advisable for early starters, and keep a water bottle handy as the cooler weather can still be dehydrating.

When and where do I collect my race bib?
Bib collection is on Saturday 12 June from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Rosebud Skate Park, or on race day up to 45 minutes before your start time.
Can I change my race distance on the day of the event?
Yes – you may upgrade or downgrade your distance at the registration tent before the start, subject to availability. A new bib will be issued if needed.
What facilities are available along the course?
There are public toilets, water taps, aid stations with drinks, and first‑aid volunteers at regular intervals. Course markings and timing mats ensure you stay on the correct route.
Are dogs or bicycles allowed on the course?
No. For safety, dogs, bikes, scooters and rollerblades are not permitted on the race routes.
What is the cut‑off time for each distance?
5km and 10km must be finished within 3 hours, the half marathon within 3 hours 30 minutes, and the marathon within 6 hours.
