Course Description
The Mt Ainslie Run Up & Power Walk is a challenging vertical ascent from Remembrance Park in Campbell to the summit of Mt Ainslie, one of Canberra's most iconic peaks. The 1.9km course climbs approximately 200 metres through native bushland on a well-maintained gravel and dirt track. Participants tackle steep gradients and switchbacks whilst surrounded by eucalyptus forest, with spectacular views opening up as you ascend. The summit rewards runners with panoramic vistas across Canberra, including Parliament House, the War Memorial, and Lake Burley Griffin. This is a true test of hill-running strength and endurance in the heart of the nation's capital.

Remembrance Park is located at the base of Mt Ainslie in Campbell, approximately 2km northeast of Canberra city centre. Street parking is available along Treloar Crescent and surrounding streets in Campbell. The venue is accessible via public transport on ACTION bus routes 9 and 10 from the city. Arrive at least 30 minutes before the start time to allow for registration and warm-up.
