Weather & What to Pack

Early March in Geelong typically offers pleasant late summer conditions, with temperatures ranging from 14-24°C. Mornings can be cool, so bring a disposable layer for the start line that you can shed after warming up. Sun protection is essential - apply sunscreen before the race and wear a cap or visor. The 8:30 AM start helps avoid the worst of the midday heat, but humidity can still be present. Stay well hydrated in the days leading up to the race, and take advantage of on-course water stations during longer distances.
