Event Details
Course Description
All races start at the top of Kangaroo Gully Road and wind through undulating, paved roads that showcase Moggill's countryside, river flats and the iconic ‘Mount Moggill’ climb. The marathon completes two loops of the half‑marathon circuit, while the half‑marathon follows a single loop with a scenic stretch along Priors Pocket Road. The 10km adds a final hill challenge before a flat finish in Westaway Park, and the shorter fun runs provide downhill starts and community cheer zones. Expect well‑marked routes, water stations and enthusiastic local support throughout.
Getting There
Westaway Park is accessed via Kangaroo Gully Road (school side) and the finish line sits on Witty Road. Free on‑site parking is available at the park with ample spaces. Public transport: bus routes 420 and 421 stop near Moggill State School, a short walk to the start. Arrive at least 30 minutes before your chosen start time to collect your bib and warm‑up.
