Weather & What to Pack

April in the Australian Capital Territory is autumn, with daytime highs typically 12‑20 °C and evenings cooling to 5‑12 °C. Light showers are possible, and conditions can shift quickly on exposed mountain tracks. Runners should dress in layered, moisture‑wicking clothing, bring a waterproof jacket, and carry enough water and electrolytes for cooler, potentially windy conditions.
