The race takes place on the world‑famous Adelaide Street Circuit, starting at Pit Lane. Runners tackle a 3.2km flat road loop twice – the first lap is a timed trial to qualify, and the top 100 earn the right to sprint back the opposite way on the second lap, known as the Double Stint.
