Course Description

Runners will circle a 1.426 km loop that starts and finishes at the same aid station, completing as many laps as they can within their chosen time frame. The course winds around the tranquil Thorndon Park reservoir, offering views of native wildlife, koalas and local walkers. The terrain is a mix of paved paths and natural trail sections, providing both fast‑running stretches and softer, technical ground. With a single aid station just metres from the start/finish and personal aid tables exposed to the elements, participants must be self‑sufficient while enjoying the supportive festival atmosphere.

Getting There

Thorndon Park is situated about 20 km northeast of Adelaide in the suburb of Paradise. The venue is a public reservoir with on‑site parking and local road access. For detailed directions, parking fees and public transport options, please refer to the official event website or contact the organisers directly.

Runners should dress in layers – a breathable base, a lightweight jacket for cooler mornings, and a hat or visor for sun protection. Stay hydrated and consider a warm drink before early‑morning laps.
