Course Description
The XTERRA Anglesea courses start with a refreshing 750‑metre (sprint) or 1.5‑km (full) ocean swim off Anglesea Main Beach, where water temperatures sit around 19 °C. Riders then tackle a mixed‑terrain bike leg – 15 km for the sprint and 30 km for the full distance – winding through the technical single‑track of the Eumeralla trails, offering forest shade and coastal views. The run finishes on a 5.3‑km (sprint) or 10‑km (full) trail that threads the Anglesea Heath, delivering rolling hills, cliff‑top panoramas and a fast, flowing finish line beside the River and Shark Park playground. All routes are designed for a balanced challenge that rewards both speed and endurance.
