Course Description

The race starts and finishes in the township of Eildon, winding through Lake Eildon National Park’s eucalypt bushland, ridgelines and waterways. Competitors navigate unmarked terrain, moving from trekking legs (12‑20 km on the Half, 25‑35 km on the Full) to mountain‑bike sections (30‑50 km and 60‑70 km respectively) and paddling stretches on the Goulburn River (8‑15 km and 15‑25 km). Transition areas are set up at key points where teams swap disciplines and refuel. The course is linear, with the final leg looping back to Race HQ, demanding solid navigation, endurance and teamwork over a full 24‑hour window.
