The bike leg follows the straight, flat George Bass Drive, providing a fast, uninterrupted ride of 10 km, 20 km or 40 km depending on the distance. The run finishes on a pancake‑flat route through the heart of Tomakin, with aid stations at Sunpatch Parade and Barlings Beach Holiday Park. Start locations vary – hidden river entrance, Tomago Boat Ramp or Tomago River – all accessed via the transition area at Tomakin Sports Club.
