Course Description
The race takes place on the Heffron Park criterium circuit just outside the Des Renford Leisure Centre. Athletes start with a 700 m (Sprint) or 200 m (Enticer) swim in the centre’s pool, then transition to a 2 km road bike loop that winds through the park’s paved paths. The run is a 1.25 km (Sprint/Enticer) or 500 m (Kids) loop around the park’s open grass areas, offering flat, fast sections and occasional gentle climbs. Spectators can watch from the park’s picnic zones, and the circuit’s closed‑loop format makes it easy to follow and cheer on participants.
