Weather & What to Pack
May is autumn in New South Wales, bringing mild to cool conditions. Expect daytime temperatures between 12 °C and 20 °C with a chance of light breezes off the lake. Humidity is moderate and sunshine can be intermittent, so dress in layers – a light jacket or long‑sleeve top plus a breathable shirt works well. Bring a water bottle, as on‑site drinking facilities are limited, and consider a hat or sunglasses for occasional sunny spells.
