Course Description

The Blue Goat Backyard courses weave through the backyard of Blue Mountains Fitness on a series of clearly marked loops. A 10.5km loop is used for the 10.5km, Half Marathon, 30km, Marathon and 50km events, with participants completing multiple laps. Shorter 5km and 1km runs use a separate 5km loop. The terrain is a mix of gentle trails and fire‑access roads, offering rolling hills, native bush, and occasional wildlife sightings such as wallabies, goats and snakes. Flagging tape, arrows on trees and signage keep the route easy to follow, while water stations and nutrition packs are provided at each checkpoint.
