Course Description
The Tolosa Half (21 km) launches from Tolosa Park’s gates at 7 am, winding through open woodland that quickly turns into dense eucalypt forest and rocky dolerite outcrops. Runners tackle technical sections, hand‑crafted wooden bridges, and the iconic Springs at the halfway mark before a flowing descent via the purpose‑built North‑South track. The Sport (10 km) follows a similar route but turns back at the Old Hobartians Track, offering a moderate climb of 420 m. The Explorer (5 km) provides a gentler 130 m ascent, perfect for families and pram‑pushers, though the trail remains rough. All courses are well‑marked, showcase Tasmania’s natural beauty and finish at the Event Hub where post‑run festivities await.
