Course Description
The Dover Fun Run offers a breathtaking coastal course with stunning views of Port Esperance and iconic Adamsons Peak. Runners will enjoy a mix of flat and hilly terrain, with the Dover Half 21km featuring a challenging elevation gain. The route is scenic, family-friendly, and ideal for all levels of runners.
Getting There
The event takes place at Dover Esplanade, Dover, TAS. Parking is available in the surrounding area. Arrive early to allow time for bib collection and registration. Public transport options are limited, but shuttle services may be available for the Half Marathon.
Weather & What to Pack
In November, Dover experiences spring conditions with daytime highs around 18°C and overnight lows around 8°C. Light layers, moisture-wicking clothing, and hydration are recommended for the event.

No, registration is not available on the day. Online registration closes on October 31st or when the event reaches capacity.
Where can I collect my race bib?
Bib collection for the Dover Half will take place at Surges Bay Hall on race day from 6:30 AM. Other distances can collect bibs at the Port Esperance Sailing Club on October 31st.
Is there a cut-off time for the Dover Half?
Yes, the cut-off time for the Dover Half is 11:30 AM.
Are there food and drink stations along the course?
Yes, there will be drink stations along the course to support all runners.
Can I run with a pram or dog?
For safety reasons, prams and dogs are not permitted on the course.
