Course Description

The relay takes place on a flat, traffic‑free 2.5 km loop inside Victoria Park, Pakapakanthi. Each team member completes two laps, covering a total of 5 km before handing the virtual baton to the next runner. The course winds through open lawns, tree‑lined paths and includes a short section that mirrors part of the BP Adelaide Grand Final supercar circuit, offering a unique mix of park scenery and a hint of motorsport excitement. With a drink station at the halfway point (2.5 km) and toilets at the start/finish area, participants have all essentials on site. Chip timing provides accurate results that are posted live online, making the race both competitive and family‑friendly.

Getting There

Weather & What to Pack

March in South Australia is early autumn, with daytime temperatures typically ranging from 18 °C to 22 °C and cooler evenings around 12 °C. Expect mild humidity and occasional light showers. Runners should dress in breathable, moisture‑wicking layers and bring a light jacket for the cooler start. Staying hydrated is still important, so carry a water bottle or use the drink station at the 2.5 km mark.
