Course Description

Runners will tackle a flat, paved 2.5km loop that follows the tranquil banks of the Patawalonga Creek, just a short walk from the bustling Glenelg foreshore. All distances beyond 2.5km consist of multiple laps of this scenic circuit, so you’ll repeatedly enjoy river views, gentle breezes and easy‑grade terrain. An aid station sits at the start/finish of each loop, supplying water, sports drinks, snacks and first‑aid. The course is fully road‑based with no technical sections, making it ideal for paced racing or a relaxed evening jog under the lights.

Getting There

The race starts and finishes on Anderson Avenue in Glenelg North, just down the road from the Glenelg Baseball Club. Parking and public‑transport details are not listed in the event information, so we recommend checking the official Humanitix page or contacting GoodRunnings for the latest guidance. Plan to arrive early to allow time for bib collection and the pre‑race briefing.

Weather & What to Pack

November is spring in Adelaide, with typical daytime highs around 22 °C and lows near 12 °C. Expect mild sunshine, moderate humidity and occasional light breezes. Dress in breathable layers – a light long‑sleeve or jacket for the evening chill, plus a hat and sunscreen for sun protection. Stay hydrated, especially if you’re tackling the longer loops.
