Weather & What to Pack
April in Queensland's Scenic Rim region typically brings mild autumn weather with daytime temperatures ranging from 14-25°C. Expect cool mornings at the 6:00 AM race precinct opening, warming up through the morning. The area can experience variable conditions including morning fog in the valleys, so pack layers you can shed as you warm up. Humidity is generally moderate in autumn. Sun protection is essential as you'll be exposed on open sections of the trail. Bring your own hydration - the event operates a no-cup policy, so carry a 500ml bottle for water station refills on the long course.
