Course Description
Both the 10 km and 5 km Fun Runs start at 6:00 am and follow a closed‑road circuit around Mitchell Park in Southport. The flat, paved routes wind alongside the Broadwater, offering scenic water‑front vistas and plenty of shade from park trees. With clear signage and multiple aid stations, the course is designed for a smooth, enjoyable run – whether you’re aiming for a personal best or a relaxed morning jog. The layout is beginner‑friendly yet still provides enough distance to challenge intermediate athletes.
