Frequently Asked Questions

How do I register and what are the entry‑fee tiers?

Register online via the Event Crew website. Fees start at $124 for Ultra (Super Early Bird) and rise to $154 (Race Week). Other distances have similar tiered pricing. Credit‑card payments incur a processing fee at cost. Check the official site for current early‑bird availability.

What gear is mandatory on race day?

All participants must wear a helmet and the coloured swim cap provided (or wear your own underneath). A timing chip is supplied and must be worn on the left ankle. Helmets are checked at the bike rack. No wetsuits are allowed for Triathlon Pink events.

Are there cut‑off times for the swim or bike?

Ultra swimmers should aim to finish the 600 m swim within ~25 minutes. All bike legs have a cut‑off of 9:30 AM; participants who miss it must proceed directly to the run but will still receive a finisher medal.

Can I compete as part of a relay team?

Yes. Relay teams of 2‑3 athletes can enter any adult distance. Teams may split the legs (swim, bike, run) or have one athlete complete multiple legs. Team entry fees are listed separately on the website.

What is the policy if I need to withdraw or change my entry?

Refer to the Transfers and Refunds page on the Event Crew site for the specific withdrawal and refund rules. Changes and cancellations are subject to the terms and conditions outlined there.
