Weather & What to Pack

July is winter in Far North Queensland, offering ideal racing conditions with daytime temperatures typically ranging from 18-26°C. Expect lower humidity than summer months, though the tropical location means you'll still need sun protection and regular hydration. Mornings can be cool (15-18°C), so pack layers for the 7:00 AM starts. The Cassowary Coast can experience occasional winter showers, so waterproof gear is essential. Overall, July provides comfortable racing weather without the extreme heat and humidity of the wet season, making it perfect for multi-day endurance events.
