From Melbourne, take the M1 Princess Freeway to Geelong, then continue on the Surf Coast Highway (B100) through Torquay to Anglesea. The park is centrally located in town near McMillan Street. Parking is available at the venue and surrounding streets. Arrive early (at least 45 minutes before your start time) to allow time for parking, registration check-in, and warm-up.
Weather & What to Pack
Early July in Anglesea typically brings crisp winter conditions with morning temperatures ranging from 6-12°C, warming slightly by mid-morning. Expect cool, fresh air perfect for trail running, though mornings can be chilly. Conditions are generally dry, though occasional showers are possible. Dress in layers with long sleeves and tights or shorts depending on your preference. The coastal location can bring brisk winds, so consider a light wind-resistant layer. Sun protection is still important on clear days. Hydration remains essential despite cooler temperatures, particularly on longer distances.
