Getting There

The race precinct is located at Lang Park on Marine Drive in North Wollongong, easily accessible from the Princes Motorway. Street parking is available along Marine Drive and surrounding streets, though arriving early is recommended as spaces fill quickly. The venue is within walking distance of North Wollongong train station (approximately 10 minutes). For the 10km and half marathon with 6:45 AM and 7:05 AM starts, plan to arrive by 6:00 AM for bib collection and warm-up.

Weather & What to Pack

Early June in Wollongong brings mild autumn conditions with average temperatures ranging from 10-18°C. Morning starts can be crisp, particularly for the 6:45 AM first wave, so light layers are recommended for warm-up. The coastal location means potential for light winds, though the ocean breeze can be refreshing during your run. Humidity is typically moderate, and whilst rainfall is possible in autumn, clear mornings are common. Bring sunscreen as UV levels can still be significant, and ensure proper hydration despite the cooler temperatures, especially for the half marathon distance.
