Weather & What to Pack

April in Sydney's northern regions typically brings pleasant autumn conditions with mild temperatures ranging from 15-23°C. Expect crisp mornings with potential for fog in the park's valleys, warming to comfortable running temperatures by mid-morning. Humidity is generally moderate, and rainfall is possible though not frequent. The shaded forest sections provide relief from sun exposure, but open fire trail sections can be warm. Bring sun protection including hat and sunscreen. The technical terrain and potential for warm conditions make proper hydration essential - mandatory gear includes a 500ml water bottle or hydration pack for refilling at aid stations.
