Course Description
The UNBROKEN Team Trail Marathon takes you through the tranquil Scribbly Gums Conservation Area in Alexandra Hills. Teams tackle continuous 14km trail loops in a unique relay format, with runners moving as one through day and night. The conservation area offers quintessential Queensland bushland scenery with eucalypt forests and natural terrain. Teams of four complete six loops total (three per runner), whilst ultra teams of two push through twelve loops (six each) over a maximum 26-hour period. The course starts at 10:00am on Saturday and all runners must be off course by 12:00pm Sunday. Whether running for fun or chasing podium positions in Mixed, All-Male, or All-Female divisions, the looped format allows for excellent crew support and strategic pacing throughout this endurance challenge.

Weather & What to Pack
Early April in Queensland typically offers ideal autumn running conditions with daytime temperatures ranging from 20-27°C and overnight lows around 15-18°C. Humidity is generally moderate, though coastal proximity may increase moisture levels. Expect warm, pleasant weather during daylight hours with cooler conditions overnight. Pack layers for the night-time running sections, moisture-wicking clothing for daytime, sun protection including hat and sunscreen, and plan hydration strategies for both warm afternoon running and cooler overnight periods. Light rain is possible, so consider packing waterproof gear.
