Event Details
Course Description
Teams of two tackle a linear, off‑road course that blends trail running, mountain biking and kayaking. The Half Course covers roughly 3–5 km of trail run, 5–7 km of bike and 3–5 km of kayak, while the Full Course adds another 5–7 km run, 10–15 km bike and a 5 km paddle. Check‑points are marked with orange‑white flags and are easy to spot. The route winds through coastal bushland, sandy beaches and harbour waterways, offering spectacular sea views and varied terrain. You have up to six hours to collect all checkpoints and cross the finish line.

How do I register and what is the cost?
Teams of two register online via the Wild&Co event page. The entry fee is $265 per team (incl. GST) and covers kayak, PFD, paddle hire, waterproof maps and a post‑event soft drink. Card processing fees (3.5%) are added at checkout.
What are the mandatory gear requirements?
All teams must carry a map, compass, personal safety equipment and the provided kayak and paddle. Mandatory items (checked at registration) include a personal flotation device (PFD), appropriate footwear, and any required navigation tools. Failure to carry mandatory gear may result in penalties or disqualification.
What is the cut‑off time and how are results determined?
The race has a six‑hour cut‑off; you must reach the finish line within this window. The winning team is the first to cross the line having collected all checkpoints in the correct order.
Can I cancel or transfer my entry?
Yes. Cancellations more than 12 weeks before the event receive an 85 % refund (15 % admin fee). Cancellations between 12 and 4 weeks receive a 50 % refund. No refunds are given within 4 weeks of the event. Entries can be transferred to another Wild&Co event more than 4 weeks before the race date, with a credit valid for 12 months.
What should I expect on race day?
Registration opens at 7:00 am, followed by a compulsory briefing at 7:30 am. The race starts at 8:30 am. You’ll receive a race bag, maps and safety gear at the event HQ, which also serves as the start/finish line. After the race, presentations are held at 1:30 pm.
