Weather & What to Pack
March in the Illawarra typically brings mild late-summer conditions with temperatures ranging from 18-26°C. Expect warm, humid mornings with plenty of sunshine and coastal breezes along the exposed sections. There's a moderate chance of afternoon showers. Wear lightweight, breathable clothing, a hat, and sunscreen. The 40km distance and potential heat make hydration critical - take advantage of all water stations. The Blue Mile participants should still prepare for sun exposure despite the shorter distance.
