Late January in Sydney brings warm summer conditions with average temperatures of 19-27°C. Expect high humidity (60-75%) and strong UV levels, particularly in the early morning sun. The coastal location provides cooling sea breezes, though headwinds can be challenging. Wear light, breathable running gear and apply sunscreen before the start. Hydration is critical - drink well before the race and utilise on-course water stations. Early 6:30 AM start times help avoid peak heat, but temperatures will rise throughout the event.
