Course Description

The Woodlands Trail Run winds through Woodlands Historic Park’s native bushland, taking runners past open grasslands, gentle ridges and a small creek. The 2km and 5km loops are relatively flat and family‑friendly, while the 10km, 21km, 42km and 50km routes add rolling hills and technical single‑track sections that test endurance and navigation skills. Well‑marked checkpoints and clear signage keep you on track, and the natural surroundings provide plenty of photo‑worthy moments along the way.

Getting There

Parking and public‑transport options are not detailed on the event page, so please visit the official website or contact Trailsplus for the latest information on parking facilities and bus or train services. Weather & What to Pack

May in Victoria is autumn, with typical daytime highs around 16 °C and overnight lows near 7 °C. Expect cool, crisp conditions and occasional light rain. Dress in layers – a moisture‑wicking base, a long‑sleeve top and a lightweight jacket or vest are ideal. Wear a hat or headband for sun protection and bring a small water bottle or hydration pack, as temperatures can feel chilly on the trails.
