Weather & What to Pack

Late February is the end of summer in Victoria, with warm to hot days typically in the mid-20s to low 30s degrees Celsius. Race starts are early (7:30am to 8:20am), so mornings are usually cooler, but conditions can warm quickly, particularly for the later park activities. Wear light, breathable clothing, a hat and sunscreen, and drink well before and after the race. Hot weather can arrive at short notice, so check the forecast the week of the event.
