Event Details
Course Description
The race starts and finishes at the Finch Hatton MTB Trail Head, winding through purpose‑built single‑track that blends flowing berms, steep switchbacks and rapid descents. Runners tackle a 6 km sprint on a hilly short loop, a 12 km intermediate loop that returns to the start/finish for water top‑ups, and an 18 km full‑course that repeats the loop three times, offering rolling downhills and punchy climbs with spectacular valley views. The trail is clearly marked with arrows and caution tape, and a water station is available at the start/finish line every 6 km. Toilets, showers and finish‑line refreshments are on site.

Dress in layers – a breathable base, a light jacket and a hat or gloves for early morning. Hydration is still important; carry enough water for the whole run despite the cooler temperatures.
