The QUT Classic courses wind through the scenic footpaths of the Gardens Point campus, keeping runners on paved routes and away from the adjacent cycle path. Participants are asked to keep left where possible and may encounter single‑file sections on tighter stretches. The 5km starts at 7:00 am, the 10km at 7:30 am and the 1km at 8:30 am, each finishing near the central precinct where recovery stations await. The route showcases river views, modern campus architecture and plenty of cheering spectators, making it both enjoyable and easy to navigate.
