Event Details
Course Description
The course starts at Sydney Action Park, 427 Reservoir Rd, Prospect, and heads along William Lawson Drive towards Prospect Reservoir. Runners pass through the scenic nature reserve on fully closed roads, with views of the reservoir, before turning back just before the halfway mark and finishing inside Sydney Action Park. The 10km runs the full out-and-back, while the 5km and the 2km Family Dash use shorter versions of the same route. Each finish is inside the water park, so you can head straight to the 40+ slides and wave pool. Interactive course maps are published on the event page for each distance.
Getting There

Weather & What to Pack
Mid-March is early autumn in western Sydney, usually warm with the heat of summer easing. Expect early-morning starts of roughly 16-20C, climbing to the mid to high 20s by mid-morning. Sydney's March can be humid, and showers or storms are possible, so check the forecast the night before. Wear light, breathable gear, bring sun protection for after the race, and pack swimmers and a towel for the water slides.
