Course Description

All four races start and finish at Shaw Park, weaving along the Kedron Brook Cycleway. The course is entirely on well‑maintained road‑surface paths, offering a flat, fast layout with gentle bends and plenty of shade from the tree‑lined brook. Runners will pass under the iconic Kedron Brook bridges, enjoy river‑side views and cross a few minor road intersections, all clearly signed and marshalled. Aid stations are positioned on the 10 km and longer routes, and chip timing ensures accurate results. The family dash follows the same scenic route, making it a pleasant outing for all ages.

Getting There

Shaw Park sits at 128 Shaw Road, Wavell Heights. Parking is available at the Brisbane Union Rugby Club car park and on nearby streets. Bus routes 320, 321, 333, 338 and 340 stop close to Kedron Brook Greenway. The nearest train stations are Wooloowin (≈3‑minute walk) and Eagle Junction (≈11‑minute walk). Arrive early to collect your bib and check the official site for the latest transport details.

Weather & What to Pack
