Event Details
Course Description
Runners will follow a smooth, predominantly flat road circuit that loops around the scenic Lake Tuggeranong. The route winds through the park's leafy greenway, offering lakeside views, open parklands and well‑maintained pathways. The half marathon and 10 km courses stay mostly level with only gentle undulations, while the 5 km and 2 km Family Dash provide a short, fun loop ideal for kids and beginners. Clear signage and course marshals guide participants, and aid stations are positioned on the longer routes. Finish at the event village where medals, snacks and sponsor giveaways await.
Getting There
Drive to Lake Tuggeranong District Park in Greenway. Parking is available on both the east and west sides of Lizard Log off Horsley Drive, plus a grass overflow area (4WD only when wet). Public transport does not run early on Sunday, so plan to arrive by car and collect your bib from the event village starting at 5:30 am.
Weather & What to Pack
February is summer in the ACT, with typical daytime temperatures between 20 °C and 30 °C and plenty of sunshine. Light, breathable clothing, a hat and sunscreen are recommended, and stay well hydrated before and during the race. Early morning starts help avoid the peak heat.
