Course Description

All three events start and finish on The Esplanade in Warners Bay, following the lake foreshore between Warners Bay and Speers Point. The route is completely flat, with an excellent paved surface and no significant hills. Half Marathoners complete two‑and‑a‑quarter loops, while the 10.5 km Fun Run does a single loop and the 4 km Family Scamper a short circuit. Kilometre markers guide you, water stations (water and Powerade) are placed throughout, and three aid stations provide first aid. The traffic‑free setting lets you focus on the beautiful lake scenery and your personal best.

Getting There

Weather & What to Pack

September is spring in NSW, bringing mild temperatures typically ranging from 15 °C to 22 °C with low to moderate humidity and plenty of sunshine. Mornings can feel a little cool, so a light jacket or long‑sleeve top is advisable, while breathable shorts or leggings work well for the warmer parts of the day. Stay hydrated, use sunscreen, and consider a hat for sun protection.
