Event Details
Course Description
The Ona Mission course begins with a paddle from South Mission Beach across the crystal waters to Dunk Island. Upon landing, athletes tackle a trail run through the island's World‑Heritage rainforest before paddling back to the mainland. After the transition, the mountain‑bike leg rides north along the beach, climbs Fenbys Gap and weaves through ancient rainforest tracks, looping back to South Mission Beach. The final leg is a scenic beach run along the Kennedy Walking Track, returning to the Vaka Hut finish. The mixed terrain – ocean, sand, rainforest trails and fire‑road – offers both breathtaking views and challenging sections for multisport enthusiasts.
