Runners then tackle a single steep climb before cruising over undulating forest and pastoral paddocks to the 8 km mark at Kawarren, which also serves as the start for the 6km events. Both the 16km and 6km courses loop back to finish at Rex Norman Park in the charming Otway village of Gellibrand. Drink stations are positioned around the 5 km and 10 km points, with additional water at the finish line.
