Course Description
All distances start and finish at the Village Green on the Coffs Harbour Showground. The route follows the scenic Coffs Creek Walkway, winding through mangrove‑lined swamp forests, wooden boardwalks and the iconic jetty fore‑shores. Runners experience shaded gravel paths, a flat fast section for the 5km and 10km, and a single‑lap half‑marathon that showcases the North Wall, Jetty, South Wall and back to the finish. The marathon adds extra loops of the same stunning scenery. Water stations are positioned at 2.8km, 9.7km, 14.3km, 16.6km and 18.5km, with electrolytes and refreshments. The mixed terrain is mostly flat but includes boardwalks and occasional gravel, offering a moderate challenge suitable for seasoned runners and beginners alike.
Getting There
The festival is centred at the Coffs Harbour Showground (123 Pacific Highway). Parking fills quickly, usually before 7:00 am, so arrive early. If the main car park is full, use nearby alternatives such as Castle Street multi‑storey car park, the Coffs Harbour Olympic Pool/Fitzroy Oval area or Marcia St behind the Council Depot. Follow directions from parking marshals and allow extra time to walk to the event precinct. For public transport options and detailed parking maps, check the official website.
