Weather & What to Pack
Late August is winter in Sydney. Mornings are cool, typically around 8 to 10 degrees Celsius at the early start, warming to daytime highs of about 17 to 19 degrees Celsius. Conditions are usually dry and clear, but showers and wind across the Harbour Bridge are possible. Layers you can discard before the start work well, and the forecast is worth checking in race week.
