Event Details
Course Description
Both the 10 km and 21 km routes launch from the historic old Queen Victoria Hospital and follow the Kedumba Firetrail down into the valley. Runners descend fast, cross a river, then turn around and climb back up, totalling 395 m of gain for the 10 km and a grueling 823 m for the half marathon. Along the way you’ll be treated to panoramic vistas of Kedumba Walls, Jamison Valley and Mt Solitary. The course is well‑marked with marshals at key points, and aid stations at 5 km and 10.5 km provide water, electrolytes, fruit and lollies. Expect a mix of steep descents, technical climbs and breathtaking scenery.
Getting There
From Sydney, travel west on the Great Western Highway. Parking is available at the intersection of Tableland Rd and Kings Tableland Rd. The nearest train station, Wentworth Falls, is roughly 6 km away. Arrive early to collect your race number at 6:30 AM.
