Course Description

The 5km route is a single lap around the Western Sydney University and Campbelltown TAFE campuses, following wide paved pathways with a gentle incline and scenic views of the university buildings, surrounding hills and open green spaces. The 10km option repeats the loop twice, adding a bit more elevation but staying on the same well‑maintained roads. The start and finish line is positioned in front of the School of Medicine building off Goldsmith and David Pilgrim Avenue. The course is flat to rolling, pram‑friendly and suitable for walkers, making it an inclusive community event. Participants can enjoy the early morning atmosphere, with cheering spectators and a barrel draw for prizes after the race. The route’s easy terrain makes it ideal for families, beginners, and seasoned runners alike.

Getting There

The event is held at Western Sydney University’s Campbelltown Campus, front of the School of Medicine building off Goldsmith and David Pilgrim Avenue. If you’re driving, the site is about 1 km east of the M5 motorway. For public transport, alight at Macarthur railway station; the registration area is a five‑minute walk from the station. Check the official website for parking and detailed directions.
